Is doing 3 sets of 10 pull ups @ 3 seperate grip/widths (90 total reps) an effective back work-out ? Or do i need to add rows ?

      Pull Up Question

I'd say 90 pull ups is overkill. Definitely add rows.

      Pull Up Question

What other back exercises do you perform? What does your entire workout program look like?

      Pull Up Question

Rep until failure, not until 10, I say. If you can do 20 pullups in a row, for example, 10 isn't really doing much.

I too would reduce the volume and add rows.

      Pull Up Question

I would definitely add row. Your back is a very complex area of muscles and they will need much more than just pullups.

      Pull Up Question

      Pullups,tbar,closegrip pulldowns,db row,etc i usually mix in 5or 6 movements alternating between pullup/down and row.

      Pull Up Question

some people say you should be doing at least 1 variation of pullups,1 of rows and 1 of deadlifts for your back(optimally)

has been succesful for me, doing 3x5 of the main exercises and random accessory work at 2-3 sets 8-12 reps

      Pull Up Question

As a minimum routine for back, you'll need a pull from overhead, a pull from the front, and a pull from the floor.
