I'm 5' 9", 120lbs. I just started a bulk cycle while at the same time trying to boost testosterone levels. The cycle lasts 60 days and I want to maximize gains and get the most use out of the $250+ I just spent on my stack. I was able to slam 3000 cals yesterday but I felt like crap at work due to being bloated. I will continue to maintain 3000 cals a day but I'm wondering if anyone can give me any tips on how to increase my intake to 3500-4000 a day. This is only my second day on the cycle so I will continue what I'm doing for at least a week to see if Im getting anywhere.

      Stack:
      Core Nutritionals Core Test
      Universal Real Gains
      Universal GH Max
      GABA
      Intrabolic
      ON After Max

      Routine:
      M: Chest (triceps indirectly)
      T: Back (biceps indirectly)
      W: legs
      T: shoulders, forearms
      F: Bi's, tri's
      Sat, Sun: rest

Currently on an isolation routine. I'd like to move on to a compound routine or at least integrate a couple of compound exercises if anyone has any ideas. I'm not ready for squats - afraid to hurt my back and don't have a machine for it at home. How about pull ups? I can pick up one of those bars that hang on your door. Is that considered a compound? Or is my current routine sufficient?

      What's your typical diet like?

That's the most important thing in this context yet you neglected to post it

Take all that useless stuff back, get your money back, and then spend it at the grocery store on red meat, potatoes, and vegetables.

The routine you posted is inappropriate for a beginner. Go with this program instead:

Wake up at 10am, eat yogurt and granola everyday for breakfast. (added a Real Gains shake for the sake of the cycle. Adds almost 1000 cals when added to 16 oz milk.

I then wait two hours before working out. Take 4 tablets of GH Max on empty stomach before workout for growth hormone production. Start workout somewhere between 12-1pm and take Intrabolic during. Drink an After Max shake post workout.

By that time, it's time to leave for work. For lunch, I bring a clementine or two, a banana, applesauce, a lunch baggy full of walnuts, pecans or Brazil's, and 3 ham or turkey sandwiches. Get

Get home from work at midnight and get ready for bed. I could squeeze a small meal in after work I suppose of my stomach is up for it but I another serving of GH Max on an empty stomach before bed along with GABA to help promote Growth Hormone production.

Drop all the silly supplements and start consuming a proper diet.

To learn how to construct a proper diet, start reading the stickies at the top of the nutrition forum. Also, use a proven lifting routing such as Starting Strength.

      Listen to this advice.

      And this ^

OP, don't get sucked into the 'get ripped in 60 days' hype & burn yourself out. Rome wasn't built in a day. Slow & steady wins the race.

I was a "hard gainer" until I got a desk job.

Eat more, do less. Lift heavy as possible for your chosen rep scheme and use cardio very sparingly.

I realize most prefer whole food over supplement but no one tells me why. If you are taking at least 2-3 solid meals, why does it matter if you used supplements to fill in the gaps? Cooking everyday isn't a solution for me and even cooking once for the week isn't going to work. I live in a bachelor pad, food doesn't last long in my fridge.

I've done a ton of research on the supplements I chose and they have pretty descent ratings and reviews. I chose Inteabolic mainly for the bcaas and beta-alanine. And the After Max, I chose for the glutamine, creatine, carbs, protein. You can't get all that in a meal.

I appreciate the replies but I'm looking for solution that don't include change my whole diet. I'd like something that I can integrate easily.

Thanks for the tip on the workout program. Ill check it out. If squats are included, I might have to pass on it.

Thanks. I dont do any cardio and I lift heavy. Usually 3 sets of 5-7 reps per workout. I do work in a dryer room at work 2-3 days a week which doesn't help but there isn't anything I can do about that.
