Hypothetically speaking, if you had to choose only 5 different foods that you can eat for a full month. Then which would you choose? I would surely include salmon and potatoes and probably spinach leaves and some of my favorite vegetables.
Mine would be lamb, beef, pure coconut cream, sweet potatoes and onions. I love red meat, sweet potatoes and coconut cream, three of my favourite foods.
Chicken, steak, potatoes, rice and pasta. I'd love to throw in some greens but I love these 5 foods way too much. If you gave us six I would probably add spinach so I could have salads. "probably" : )
You can't go wrong with steak and potatoes, I could quite happily live on that every day because I love steak and I love potatoes. Potatoes are surprisingly nutritious and steak is nutrient-dense as well. I would skip on the pasta, though.
1. Sweet potatoes 2. Almond butter 3. Cherry tomatoes 4. Spinach & artichoke hummus 5. Gluten free toast (I have a good brand that has added flax)
1. Beef 2. Chicken 3. Cabbage 4. Rice 5. Pork - what can I say, I love meat! I would add potatoes, but then I would have to give up a meat, so, no can do.
I would do chicken. Maybe brown rice and broccoli. Fruit I would choose would be apples. And I guess milk would be the final thing.
Milk is a good source of nutrition if it is quality milk, organic and raw, but the standard pasteurised milk sold at the supermarkets is not ideal for health, especially if you live in the US where antibiotics are routinely used.
If I had to choose just five foods for a whole month, I'd go with salmon, potatoes, spinach leaves, and some of my favorite veggies too.
Salmon provides essential proteins and omega-3 fatty acids, while potatoes offer carbohydrates for energy.
