This might help people who wonder how many calories they burn at work:- https://www.realmuscleforum.com/content/portfolio/calorie-burning-work
I think sometimes it is better to keep your work life and you exercise time separate. It is better for the body and the mind!
Studies have found those working in call centres to be the least active of workers, Whereas desk workers burn around 34 calories an hour. Here given the simplest way to burn calories at work Use the restroom at the far end of the office rather than the nearest one. Take regular breaks from your desk at work to stretch and walk around. During calls lift light weights or pace around.
I agree @HenryMartinez93 I think sometimes we all make eexcuses for not exercising properly - no time , work, etc. As you get older, like me lol, you start to feel the effects of not being more active, doing more exercise and looking after your health and body.
Jumping jacks are a simple, quick technique to increase your heart rate. To get your heart pounding and reduce stress, try one minute of cardio for each hour you work. You can grip a pair of light weights if you want to intensify your desk workout. Soon enough, your heart rate will be elevated!
Has anyone tried standing desks or adjustable workstations? Sounds interesting and stops you being still for long periods of time.
I have seen those adjustable desks. I thought they were some kind of fad but maybe they can be useful?
