      Whether we like it or not there are many temptations over the festive period and the majority of us will put on a "few pounds". Any tips on how to avoid the Xmas bulge?

      Take a few days out to enjoy Xmas and then get back on your fitness regime. Once you are back in the old training routine it wont take long to get back into shape. Remember, you need to enjoy life as well as train.

      For those just starting out with their new fitness regime, pick a start date and stick to it. Don't keep putting it off!

      This is a time of year which I find very difficult from a healthy eating point of view. Who else finds it tough?
