      They should be precise, but not always really accurate.

      It may be a few pounds off, but that discrepancy should be in all the readings so the usefulness is there.

      In other words, if one time you are on the scale and it says 170, then again 165, you indeed lost 5 lbs although in reality you may have been 172 and 167.

      OK that makes sense. It is in calibration with itself but possibly is always 2 pounds too much sort of thing. Thanks. Would be cool to get a scale that measured body fat, what about those are those accurate?

      Type in digital scales then the first one should have the most reviews, if not then look at ones that have high star and alot of reviews.

      Go to store. Try 3 of more of those scales, if all 3 show the same weight you should be fine.

      Only had issues with accuarecy when battery is running low. Other than that, not too bad.

      Those amazon scales seem to have a 0.2lb accuracy , sounds ok

      Great idea. They are all most likely in boxes but I'll see what I can do.

      Use a 35 pack of 500ml water = 17.5kg.
