Debt advice I did some digging and found this: http://www.moneysupermarket.com/comm...rs-189484.aspx Looks as though once the 6 years are up, it can't be held against you, as long has there has been zero contact with you in that time.
Debt advice This was nearly 10 years ago mate, I was wet behind the ears, I can't even remember what paperwork they had, but they were intent on seizing property or getting the bill paid. Learnt my lesson the hard way there, both with the bailiffs and the ex gf!
Debt advice Ah thats a shame mate. I'm a right cnut, I know the law on everything just because I have a kind of obsessive compulsive need for information. last time I got nicked (for gear posession) I was quoting the misuse of drugs act to the arresting coppers and getting them absolutely enraged, had a fun interview with them mocking their lack of knowledge. I'd quite like to go head to head with a pair of thick cnut bailiffs. lol
