      Do we really need this much protein

      Quick thing to clear up is that even if you take more protein in than you need it won't "end up in the loo". Protein is pretty much the last macro to be stored as fat, but an excess of aminos will be burnt for energy.

      I think it is blown out of the water quite a bit but its always a top macro.
      I have recently really focused on consuming more protein as I have started cutting. Im 73kg and as long as I take in between 160-200g im happy. Making very good progress since doing this too

      I've never eaten more than 3000 cals on a diet, never more than 200g protein, even when i've been over 16 stone

      That's not to say more can't be beneficial, protein requirements tend to go up when dieting etc. I'd say anything up to 3gram per KG (around 1.5g pel lb) if plenty for natty's, guys on assisstance may use more.

      I'm 110kg

      6 meals a day

      To be honest, I have recently cut down my protein, if I have 30g protein per meal, I feel I'm always on the toilet.

      I also read a few online articles.

      I'm cutting my protein but goin to make sure I get more sources of protein
