I try to go running whenever I can - and plenty of walking - and find it very therapeutic. It gives me a chance to clear my head and come back refreshed and ready for the day ahead.

      We know that running:-
      1. Releases endorphins: Running releases endorphins, which are the body's natural "feel-good" chemicals. Endorphins can help to reduce stress, boost mood, and promote feelings of happiness and well-being.

      2. Reduces stress: Running can be a great way to reduce stress and anxiety. Exercise has been shown to decrease levels of the stress hormone cortisol, which can contribute to feelings of anxiety and tension.

      3. Improves sleep: Running can help to improve sleep quality and duration. Regular exercise has been shown to help regulate sleep patterns, which can improve overall sleep quality and reduce insomnia.

      4. Boosts self-esteem: Running can be a great way to boost self-esteem and confidence. Achieving goals such as running a certain distance or completing a race can help to build a sense of accomplishment and self-worth.

      5. Provides a sense of control: Running can provide a sense of control over one's physical and mental health. Setting and achieving running goals can help to build self-discipline and a sense of mastery over one's body and mind.
Thwere is a lot more to exercise than you might think!
