I go to the gym 3 to 4 days a week and I also play hockey once a week, which I include in what I call my "workout" because it replaces a cardio day.

Do any of you own a home gym? I'm so glad I made the switch to a home gym a few years ago. I have saved so much money on memberships and petrol and I love the freedom you have when owning your own gym.

I used to go to the gum but I stopped a while ago.
I just hate how crowded it is and the fact that it takes me a whole to get there and back.
I realized that I can be much more productive if I am working out at home.

I'm looking forward to doing this once my current membership runs out. I might three times as much money out of the gate but the money saving will happen eventually. I totally forgot to add in gas used to get there too, my gym is about 15 minutes away and my car takes premium gas. Plus weights resale value is always high because of how much scrap iron goes for, so you can't really lose.

You will effectively start making money on your investment after a year or two, depending on the cost of your membership and the equipment you buy. You don't need to spend too much, invest in the basics and you will be good to go.
