Aurogra 100 mg is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction in men. It contains sildenafil citrate, which is the same active ingredient found in Viagra. Sildenafil works by inhibiting an enzyme called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). Here's how it works:

      1. Erection Process: To understand how Aurogra works, it's important to first know how an erection occurs. When a man is sexually stimulated, nitric oxide is released in the erectile tissue of the penis. This activates an enzyme called guanylate cyclase, which increases levels of a chemical called cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP).

      2. Role of cGMP: cGMP is crucial for relaxing the smooth muscles in the blood vessels of the penis. This relaxation allows more blood to flow into the penis, causing it to become erect.

      3. PDE5 Enzyme: However, another enzyme called PDE5 breaks down cGMP, leading to a decrease in its levels. This can result in the loss of the erection.

      4. Sildenafil's Action: Aurogra (containing sildenafil) inhibits the action of PDE5. By doing so, it allows cGMP to accumulate and persist in the erectile tissue. This, in turn, enhances the vasodilatory effects of cGMP, promoting increased blood flow into the penis and helping to maintain an erection.
Remember, Aurogra should only be used under the guidance and prescription of a healthcare professional. It's important to follow the recommended dosage and usage instructions provided by your healthcare provider or on the medication label.
