Well, the science is revealing that exercise doesn't play a significant role in weight loss. Exercise has many health benefits but its role in fat loss is minimal. How many times a week do you jog and for how long? You don't need to jog a lot, just eat clean and cut carbohydrates.
I heard eating healthy is the most important role in losing weight. So I would focus on eating healthy and eating less. Jogging will help a lot but it starts by eating right.
Healthy eating is great for cutting weight but exercising will get you there faster. imo, jogging is a great way to burn fat and calories.
as far as I know exercise is very important in burning off calories. i agree you do not need to exercise to lose weight but to lose the amount of weight you want and in the manner you need so that your muscles are not flabby you need to exercise. i would suggest that you exercise (jog) at least three times per week
My mother jogs every day around the neighborhood. She has been doing this for a few years. I personally haven't noticed a huge difference but she did come to me one time and showed me she went done a couple pants sizes. I was impressed with her determination to keep jogging everyday and never miss a day.
Jogging is great for losing weight, Someone saying its Minimal for weight loss... really? You need a good clean diet but you still need cardio and weight training.. That just blew my mind someone saying that. I lost 70lbs to date without having a strict diet mainly from CARDIO. I would jog on the treadmill for an hour every day or every other day. When I first started I wasn't even able to jog for 5 minutes without being gassed so that shows how much I was able to improve. Keep up your jogging, Even walk if you have to. Well any form of exercise helps and is better than nothing. But to really lose weight, you diet needs to be in order.
I like to jog, and it has helped me to lose weight. But the thing that really helps is as people say, to watch your diet. When I started doing that is when the results came. I was surprised how much weight I would lose just by taking some stuff, like white bread, out of my diet.
