Im on 5.3.1 right now, looking to gain strength as well as size. Does the medial Delt get hit enough on compound movements like military press, db shoulder press, bench, rows ect. Or do I have to find out a way put Lat raises in the program. Thanks
Lateral Raises Honestly I would follow the program rather than adding bits to it, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt but I wouldn't. Overhead pressing will use the medial head, you certainly don't 'have' to put lateral raises in.
Lateral Raises This is where im kinda torn on. i want to stick to the program, but I'm doing 5/3/1 not just for stength gains but to put on some mass. i dont want my shoulder to be disproportionate, i want the boulder look
Lateral Raises You'll be doing lateral raises with what...50lbs? Bigger shoulders require bigger weights.
