low intensity cardio vs interval training cardio I prefer HIIT because it consists of significantly shorter sessions than low intensity, and the fat loss is comparable, if not enhanced. I would definitely say go HIIT. While low intensity burns more fat, it would still take 3 or so hours to achieve what HIIT can do in 30 mins.
low intensity cardio vs interval training cardio yeah i heard u carry on burrning fat like after the session aswell dno if its true though, only thing with HIIT is like after a big leg session does it not cause atrophy of the legs if you get me?
low intensity cardio vs interval training cardio i like medium intensity cardio. Low intensity cardio is just a waste of time HIIT requires alot of energy and you will most likely get tired before you burn a decent amount of calories. Most people are only burning like 100 - 150 calories or so from HIIT sessions.
low intensity cardio vs interval training cardio That is right. After a HIIT session, your body in a state of EPOC (excess post-exercise oxygen consumption). During this state, your body is trying to return your body to homeostasis by reducing core body temp, replenish ATP and creatine stores, return hormones to normal levels, etc. Your body needs energy to do this. Because HIIT uses carbs as the primary sources, fat is used more readily when during EPOC. HIIT will not cause atrophy of the legs. Atrophy typically only occurs when a muscle is not used for a long period of time (typically starts after 2 weeks of inactivity). There is a potential for overtraining, but as long as you ease into, it should not be a problem.
low intensity cardio vs interval training cardio really helpful dude cheers, consider urself repped up
low intensity cardio vs interval training cardio HIIT all the way! Long boring sessions and even medium sessions will raise cortisol levels which is not good for gains! HIIT is actually good for BUILDING muscle and also losing fat. You keep the calorie burning process though out the day and maybe even longer! GH levels will increase dramaticlly when using HIIT compared to low intensity cardio. Plus who wants to do cardio for long times anyway? Get in lift, HIIT, protein shake and done.
