I have been training for 2-3 years on and off, 2 years constant then i moved away and never trained for a year. I am back in training now and have been working hard and making VERY slight progress, BUT.... I am tired of looking at loads of threads of people asking for this workout and that workout, starting strength, isolation, compounds, TOO MUCH! SO... WHAT IS THE BEST WORKOUT AND DIET FOR SOMEONE IN MY STATE??? And before anyone says look on the forums, i have spent HOURS looking at different ones, as i said. Thanks guys, i REALLY appreciate this, i just need a guide, someone who REALLY knows what they're doing to help me along/coach me, because the guys at my gym suck, they know nothing, not even the workers
Once and for all... ^^^This. But regardless of what you go with, you have to stick to it 100%, lifting, diet, rest, everything. Without any knowledge on you, I can recco 5x5 as a good starter. Just follow it, and don't pay attention to the critics here. Changing your routine often because someone on the internet said you should is not the best advice. It has worked for thousands of people. And make sure your diet is on track, you might want to have a nutrionist look at it, insurance should pay for that as well.
Once and for all... I am after what everyone else who doesnt take steroids is after, lean muscular fit and can run forever lol
Once and for all... Bit of an assumption I would suggest eating more, for one. Take in more calories and start focusing on macros. As the above poster said, 5x5 would probably be a good program for you to follow.
Once and for all... not really an assumption so much as a fact, or can you introduce me to someone who WANTS to get fat, flabby, unfit and gets tired walking up a step?? i need to update my space, but now im 190, i eat like a horse so that is out of the question, but i feel like im eating the wrong food
Once and for all... Running forever isn't my goal while building my body. What kind of foods are you eating? Do you count calories and macros? Might be a bit annoying to do at first but it is beneficial
Once and for all... Really? Just because someone is natural doesn't mean they have to have the fit, aesthetic appeal to their physique. Any bodybuilder can cut and condition themselves to get rid of the fat. Just because someone eats alot doesn't mean it is all fat, and you shouldn't worry about gaining fat if you know how to cut properly, your post has way too many questions involved with it... maybe looking at bodybuilding's forums isn't the best place to research your information off of if you have looked for hours and couldn't find a single thing.
Once and for all... i dont i work as a security guard on night shifts and by the time i get up its late afternoon, get to the gym then its off to work again, i work like 60-70 hours a week. I dont know how much of each i want to eat and it is goin to take months to figure out an accurate diet where i get X protein, Y carbs, Z fat etc...
