I hear that planking is very good for your "core" and helpful for people who suffer from a bad back as it strengthens the back muscles. I would be interested to hear from those who have tried planking and what benefits they felt.

      I also saw this:-

What do you think of that - worth a go?

I asked my friend about planking and they showed me what it it - wow, it does put a lot of strain on your back but even after just a few days of adding planking to my exercises I can feel the benefits. However, one word of warning, do not push yourself too hard when planking as I think it could easily do you some damage if you do too much too soon.

Unfortunately, I gave up on this planking plan but the more I read up the more important it seems to be that you have a “strong core”. Does anyone think it is worth giving planking another go?

I have tried planking and while it is quite difficult at the start, it does get a lot easier the more often you do it as your core strength improves.
