Should I try IF? in the 3-4 hour range post-eating, up to 16-18 hours, your body uses FFA metabolism as a source of energy. After that it starts using muscle as well. IMO though it shouldn't make a huge difference, but then again I been faithful with IF edit: muscle synthesis is in the "negative" range during exercise, unless you're supplementing with protein (leucine is the best, followed by BCAAs) pre and intra-workout. it makes a difference
Should I try IF? BCAAs are nice when training fasted, but you don't need them. You wont go catobolic from ~16 hours without food, even with exercise in there (unless you run a marathon or something); it takes about 3 or so days without food before you hit any real catobolic state. So if you don't want or can't afford BCAAs then it isn't a big deal.
Should I try IF? il probably use this when im tryin to get in the single digits bf. Right not im 17% so il just stick to a normal deficit
Should I try IF? I like the fasted training part of it & being able to eat huge amounts of foods. Should definitely try it.
