Hey guys, ok ive been advenuring around the forums for awhile now, andim finally getting my nutrition set. Im starting at 120 lbs 5'9, previous powerlifter at the 119 lb class, so i got basic strength lean and can see all my cuts aha. But im bulking so should i do 300 calories or 500 calories or more above maintence since im already very lean?
Skinny Bulking I would say 200-300. There's no point in any more since your body can only make around 2 pounds max. per month
Skinny Bulking 1. It's up to you and your goals. If you want to add mass faster, obviously eat in a greater caloric surplus. 2. It's going to be difficult to keep a consistent "300 calorie surplus" exactly, unless your REALLY micromanaging your calories.. which I advise against. So, I would recommend just eating loads and lifting heavy. You'll know intuitively if you really need to "cut back" or not.
Skinny Bulking 500 calories. I mean youre a hardgainer anyway so its not like if you'll have trouble cutting or losing the excess fat after the bulk.
Skinny Bulking I dont really beleive in hard gainers but yea im sure i dont have to worry, i guess i'll just stick to 300-600, and i do track my macros and everything, i weigh my meats really only and the rest is eye balled or with cups
