      i do deadlifts *DB BB shrugs (alterante different days)* upright rows side laterals

      when i do deadlifts i shoot for 5 or 6 reps

      I have traps and I don't really want or care for them. Deadlifting & vball did it for me..

      Constant shrugging in vball while blocking.. I don't ever do any shrugs at the gym. I'm thinking the upright bb rows are hitting it too on shoulder days..

      I meant, I'll shrug just under my working set for deadlifts but for 8+ reps. So f you deadlift in 5-6 reps, take roughly that weight and try shrugging it for 8+. Obviously it'll vary from person to person just how much they can do but give it a go and then add a couple of sets in between where you increase weight and lower reps with your goal of shrugging around your one rep max with deadlifts for a couple of reps.

      Deads are king. Shrugs and farmers walk are also great just use heavy weight.
