I superset/dropset barbell bench presses with dumbbell pullovers, like this:

bb bench press X lbs to failure
db pullover Y lbs to failure

bb bench press X-10 lbs to failure
db pullover Y-5 lbs to failure

bb bench press X-20 lbs to failure
db pullover Y-10 lbs to failure

bb bench press X-30 lbs to failure
db pullover Y-15 lbs to failure

I also try to increase X and Y every 2 to 3 workouts.

It looks like you're combining barbell bench presses with dumbbell pullovers in a descending weight structure, which is a fantastic way to hit both the chest and back in a single superset. This method really maximizes muscle fatigue and keeps intensity high throughout the set! Do you find adjusting the weights frequently helps keep your muscles engaged, or have you tried maintaining consistent weight for a different effect?

Thanks for sharing this approach – it’s great inspiration for refining efficient supersets!
