I have just got the george forman out and i didnt notice but the plug had dropped in the sink . If i open it up and dry it a bit will it be ok to use ! as long as i switch the swith off when i plug it in and dont touch it or am i looking for a shock and trip the power ?
wet plug Take the plug apart, remove the wires and then dry it. Then put the wires back and you should be fine. An easy lesson in wiring a plug is by the colours. Think of the first two letters of each of the colours. Brown, the first two letters is B and R that means bottom right. Blue is B and L that means bottom left. If there is another colour then it goes in the slot that is still empty. This only applies to modern wiring.
