What is the point of lifting weights on a cut? I've done nothing but gain strength and power on my cut the last few months. I've been on a constant caloric deficit and deadlift went from 375 to 390 and maybe (we'll see tomorrow) 405, all while cutting. Just finished my smolov routine on it as well.
What is the point of lifting weights on a cut? Lifting burns calories and has cardio benefits as well. In other words, it's much more versatile than just plugging away on the eliptical.
