What kind of foods do you snack on? Almond and peanut butter, could easily polish a tub off right now!!! Mmmm
I snack on dried fruits or fresh fruits in season. I live in a tropical country, so we have mangoes, jack fruit, papaya, bananas all year round.
I recently have started to lose weight, so as of right now, I don't have any food to snack on. There's really a struggle, but it's a challenge that I am ready to face. The hunger is very strong sometimes, and I get really tempted to do a little snacking to ease it. I have made some goals though, and that's why I can't just satisfy my cravings just because my body says so. As of right now, I have lost 9 kg, and I can't be any happier with the results so far.
My main go-to foods for snacks are fruit and veggies honestly! Carrots and hummus, or some berries with Greek yogurt are up there with my favorites. I try and keep things as healthy and natural as I possibly can!
My snack of choice is based on seeds, nuts and raisins. I like pumpkin and sunflower seeds. Also I eat a lot of baked soy beans although they are not seed but legumes I think. From nuts I prefer walnuts, peanuts, almonds, hazelnuts and basically everything similar to these. Mostly I eat walnuts though because I have several walnut trees and I just have a lot of it and since I do not eat meat they are a good source of many nutrients and they have a big calorie value.
My go to snacks are fruit and yogurt. In fact I think I'll go have some papaya as soon as I'm done with this post. Occasionally I have some cookies or chips if I happen to have some in the house. During the summer I love having ice cream or jell-o and during winter I make a lot of baked goods to snack on.
