If your body fat % is really high, then I'd recommend just sticking to P90X and that only from start to end. (That includes perfect nutrition). That'll help you maintain the muscle while losing the fat (and build a little muscle). But if your body fat % is low, then you should just be bulking and not doing insanity/p90x, just going to the gym.
