Just curious to hear your thoughts on P90x? I haven't done a full cycle of the program yet, but I really like the workouts overall. I'm often quite sore the next day after the workouts. I don't love the cardio though, and end up doing some extra walking as well. Has anyone else completed P90x? How did you find the program?
I completed p90x like 2 years ago which had me in the best shape of my life. The program was pretty good for your all around body. You work on every single muscle doing it. You have to give it a try and see what you think.
I have never completed the program, but I did an overview of it once and it's not bad. I have yet to meet someone complaining about the results they got from it. However it's nothing unique, if you put in the time and effort required almost any routine will pay off.
P90X seems pretty impressive. Tough work out and a heavy duty commitment. Tony Horton is in pretty nice shape. About as fit as the top UFC fighters. I am impressed but I wonder if it is over my head. Ryder13
I am about to try a similar program from the same company, called Insanity. What I love about it is that you use your own body as a weight, so there is no need to have weights in the house (which I don't).
I hear many good things. I did try it out once, but I don't think I can do it for 3 months. Got really tired from doing a couple of videos and also sore. No excuse though, because I did feel some muscle developing even though I didn't really go at it fully.
I just restarted P90x again 3 weeks ago. I really like the program but it is actually less cardio than I'm used to. Therefore, I still add a few extra cardio workouts in per week. The biggest thing I've noticed so far are my arms looking a bit more muscular and toned.
