Trying to organise a day out for a mates B'day. Fancied something different to just going out getting wasted.

I can get a deal on paintballing where all the gear, gas etc is free you just pay for paint. One of the lads is bitching saying paint is expensive and it'll cost £100 for about 3hrs!!!
I've never been so have no idea. it's £22.99 for 300 balls. If you've been how much did you spend on paint?

Has anyone done airsoft??? thats an option but looks a bit gay to me.

ha ha, how much is a piece of string thread this one. I've been about 4 times and everytime is different, sometimes you get into the heat of it and come out like rambo shooting everything in sight, but then you can be useless and get shot before you even start and don't get the chance to fire off a single shot. I'd go preparing for the worst. 300 rounds could be just one game if your a dire shooter.

I think I spent about £20 on balls last time I went, and that was a whole day event, 5 different games.

Bloody good fun but it does hurt when you get hit. I'm more of a stealth type player though so don't use too many bullets, apart from at the end when it was a free for all last man standing with nothing to hide behind!

Airsoft is pretty gay and they don't really hurt either... Plus people lie when they've been hit. You can't lie when a paintball has hit you really.

i'm booking paintballing for next saturday mate at DeltaForce. I think the package is 12 games, 300 balls and equipment for £28.99. 100balls are £6.99. I'd say you would go through at least 600 balls so total would be about £50.00.

Went for a stag do earlier this year. Got through about 600 balls in a half day session. It's not a cheap day out if you want to go on a rampage every game and let's face it, why wouldn't you

i cant remember how much i spent its been a while but it was a lot. last time i went was mates bday. we all put 2 shots in our gun (there was about 20 of us and all shot him at the same time) he was black and blue for a month after and his hair was dyed pink.
