Will you be training over the holidays? I train on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I will not be having any time off training so I'll be training on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. I would prefer to have a few days off but I'm going to soldier through.
I do train and plan to continue doing so. This is the perfect time to train as instead of gaining fat like I do during most holidays, I will lose some instead! And I am inspired to train and have made the habit of doing so!
Just got hit with a pretty heavy cough, chest cold, temp etc and dropped the working out for a full week. Hope to get back into it this week. Nothing to do with the season holiday but at one point well if I tried to work out I had visions of doing bench press and dropping the bar on my chest and dying. So I did miss a few workouts, hope to get started this week with a easy and short one. Ryder13
Sorry to burst your bubble but training over Christmas does not mean you will have lost fat. Exercise does not play a significant role in fat loss, fat loss comes through nutrition. However, it's good to see you are exercising over the holiday period.
My understanding is that weight loss is a combination of exercise or calories burned, set against calories taken in, so it is the two working together is it not. Rather than just saying exercise does not play a significant role. Exercise and regular body operations determine what is 'burned off' does it not? Like I said, I operate under the idea that the two work in combination. Ryder13
