      I was green before I posted this post, the reason I am red is because I tried giving some guy help on the misc forum...you help there and you get negged, you misinform and you get rep it sucks...

      Understandable I suppose. I've also heard that one before though so generally it really doesn't matter. But it is a good way for a new person to distinguish the good advice from the copious amounts of bull****.

      Yeah well i'm not asking stupid questions. And i'm still red.
      Red or green if they give solid advice they mean same **** to me.

      Back to the point OP,

      Like guy above said lots of people freeze chicken and cook for a week, personal preference. I like to cook my chicken when that's what I'm having several reasons. the main ones being I don't eat it that terribly often that I need to make that much at once. Another being cooked chicken tends to start to smell funny pretty quickly. Still good to eat I suppose but I can't fathom forcing myself to eat something that smells bad, so I don't.
