Ending a mobile phone contract I'm in sales and use Linkedin to get hold of contacts for companies i'm targeting, it's a fvcking goldmine.
Ending a mobile phone contract I had the same problem myself except I wasn't moving away I just simply couldn't afford it anymore. I had various conversations with people being very honest, which in truth, wasn't pleasant but I wanted some help. They did nothing, said you've signed a contract, be lucky... Although my experience was with Vodafone it's similar across the board. Mobile phone companies aren't making as much as they used to and the more people they have locked into contracts the better. My advice would be to either 1) ask for a telephone allowance to added with your employment and use a cheaper phone once posted and pay the other off 2) really beg them to drop your current price plan onto their basic one. I believe you are entitled to drop to any plan you want after 6 months? Good luck
