      I only do 1 set to failure per exercise

      i really cant train multiple sets for anything other than a couple back exercises or squats. Feels to Unnecessary to me to do multiple sets. Feels like im beating a dead horse

      That feel when training with an emphasis on strength and spending an hour in the gym despite only moderate volume

      There have actually been plenty of studies comparing multiple sets to single sets and multiple sets have always been better

      This is a new 2012 study that shows doing only 1 sets resulted in half the muscle growth as compared to 3 sets. It is done on beginners but you cant just rule it out.

      Was the single set in that study done to absolute failure and past failure through use of forced reps and negatives? I doubt it.
