      Just curious.

      I'm getting in 1800 calories per day. and 79g of carbs. (also, 75g of fat, and 211g of protein)

      55g of my carbs are eaten in the morning (pre workout) - gives me a bit of energy

      and the rest other 25g comes from negligible sources, and broccoli, which i eat later in the day

      i just started doing this, so i'm not sure how my energy levels will be, or my performance in the gym. yesterday was my first day, and it was ok.

      if you're wondering why my calories are only 1800, that's because i do absolutely jack **** daily. my NEAT (non-exercise associated thermogenesis) is essentially non existent.

      Timing of your carb intake is not important through the day. Your body has reserves of energy that it will draw upon. In fact many people find breakfast is a poor time to ingest carbs, read:

      Total carb is a matter of preference. Do what makes you feel best given the low calorie conditions. I personally limit carbs to almost none otherwise I get symptoms of hypoglycemia a few hours after eating.

      I average 200g in carbs. If you just started cutting, you will prob start seeing a slight drop in energy/performance. I did for a while until I got used to it. You'll still be able to lift, but your in a cal deficit so don't be shocked when you notice changes. Power through it and just try maintain what you got. Good luck.

      About 60g post-workout from whole meal bread. I usually diet with 0 carbs but I'm tired of torturing myself like that since I love my eggs on toast! Still seeing good results though!

      I'm in the middle of contest prep, I've been dieting for about 25 weeks and have 2 more weeks until contest time. On most days I have 160-180g of carbs. On low days (weekends) I'll go 20g or less and on refeed days (usually Fridays) I'll go as high as 600g of carbs.

      lol at people Sub > 80gm CHO per day.

      Brb - Low serotonin = Feels like sh!t.

      brb - Low Serotonin = lower impulse control = CHO Cravings = Binge

      (Extended periods of Dieting)

      Unless you're prepping or have medical issues that prevent CHO intake. You need to educate yourself further.

      Just depends on what I eat for the day. Do I purposely try to keep my carbs low? No, for what? Have cut from 237 down to 165 eating all the carbs I want so I see no point in restricting them. Yesterday I had like 250G of carbs and not a single **** was given.

      Started my cut almost 3 weeks ago...high 300s-low/mid 400s.

      Changes daily, I don't have a cho macro, just let it land wherever.

      Anything less than 100g is enough to spur on ketosis, I'd consider lowering fat slightly, lowering protein so you can fit in more carbs. Either that or do cardio

      im running around 200g but as low as 150g if i need to. when I was IFing using more carb cycling id day 1-2 low days of ~125. weekends i tend to hit 300g though and try to sorta balance it out running 150on both monday and fri if i need to. lol
