I really really want to lose weight quickly and I don't care how much muscle I lose, I just want the fat from my gut and waist areas to be completely gone... Then I can bulk up.

The overall body, i would say I was "skinny-Fat" With the last bits of fat being on my gut.. but as my weight gets lower.. the fat seems to be so much more difficult to shift.

I've steadily been decreasing carb intake over the last 3 to 4 months, should I deplete them altogether now?

Why would you? Carbs are generally a personal preference type macro. Cals in vs. cals out would affect your fat loss.

I always thought a low carb diet would switch the body's metabolism from metabolizing glucose as energy over to converting stored body fat to energy?

Six of one, half a dozen of the other. You're oxidizing more fat, but you're also eating more of it in place of the carbs. The net loss of body fat at the end of the day is the same.

Advise on losing fat as quickly as possible?

Regardless of the amount of Muscle tissue is loss in the process... I'm sick and tired of having this stomach. It's taking it's toll on the way I breathe. I've started to slouch forward first thing in the morning to enable breathing to be more easy as it's is ever so slightly difficult.

When I take a deep breath.... just half a second before the my lungs are at their fullest, it feels like my stomach is restricting the in expanding that extra little bit more.

Cals in vs cals out affect weight , macros affect fat/muscle loss/gain.

Thank you, sir, I stand corrected. I apparently need to read more to understand the concept.

At your height and weight I don't see your body fat restricting your breathing. You should see a physician about that problem specifically.

Why on earth would you want to enter a rapid weight loss at the expense of LBM? That just defies logic!!

Maybe you should focus on adding LBM now and let the body fat take care of itself. You are going about this all wrong because of an obsession with body fat. Start obsessing with adding muscle without gaining to much fat and thereby reducing your BF%.
