      No i have a GF but i think i'm too nice for my own good sometimes, yes think i'll just smile politley from now on.

      Pull her to one side and explain the situation and that you're not happy about it and remind her that she is on a probationary period and if it continues that you will suggest that her contract is terminated.

      That should stop her saying anything again regarding preferential treatment.
