Hello all, I ask this because I'm cutting while still maintaining muscle. In effect, I need 180-200g of protein daily. Being a college student, it makes it hard for me to gain all of that from meats, cottage cheese, and stuff. Hell, I can't even cook. So my meal plan goes something like this: Breakfast: Protein Shake Snack: Orange Juice Lunch: BBQ Grilled Chicken and Hummus - Salad (All Veggies, no dressing) Snack: Protein Shake ***Work Out*** Post Workout: Protein Shake Dinner: Protein Shake, banana, low-fat milk. Each shake has 28-30g of protein as I only have one scoop. I try and maintain my shakes by selecting 0 carbs and 1g of fat shakes. I feel like I get enough fat from the chicken I eat. I actually get this chicken home delivered :x My question is, is this diet okay? I understand natural food sources are the best, but am I doing more harm than good? Thank you.
Protein Shakes: Is 3-5 shakes a day okay? You should really post your macros and caloric needs because at the moment that looks very worrying, regardless of the shakes.
Protein Shakes: Is 3-5 shakes a day okay? If you're hitting your macro and micro requirements, sounds totally fine!

Protein Shakes: Is 3-5 shakes a day okay? I'm just going to say it looks scarily low in fats, carbs & calories. You do realise that your body will use the protein as it's source of energy if you are not getting enough calories?
Protein Shakes: Is 3-5 shakes a day okay? Your diet seems VERY low in dietary fat...I suggest you read the stickies at the top to learn more about nutrition.
Protein Shakes: Is 3-5 shakes a day okay? I do but since I'm cutting, I thought it'd be fine tbh. Let me clarify a few things if that's okay with you guys. 1 - The diet is not static, but relatively dynamic. If I feel weak one day, I'll focus on more carbs the next. For example I felt too tired during Legs today, which is why I plan on eating some dates tomorrow (good source of fiber and carbs) 2 - The "chicken" I eat isn't what the majority of you think it is - It's literally an ENTIRE chicken, Furthermore, I eat it with the skin to ensure fat in take. 3 - I understand that my fat intake is kind of low, but that's why I add the little things: olive oil with the humus, milk with the shake, and so on. 4 - I take multivitamins to ensure that my micro intakes are suffecient. I also welcome any criticism. To help you guys out, here's some data about me: Height: 6'1", 188.5 CM Weight: 195 LBS Body Fat Percantage: 13% Age: 22 Thank you for the support, I'd rep you all if I could
