yes. However, I would suspect that when people do this type of eating, they may tend to binge / pig out on their non-fasting day. If such a binge ends up with huge calories, then you very well may end up gaining fat. I would also think that the fast days may have you experiencing some intense cravings.

I agree with the others, that this sure sounds like a borderline eating disorder, but who knows, maybe this craziness fits your schedule and may work for you. One thing that you should be aware of is that excessive dietary fiber can also contribute to malabsorption of iron, zinc and other minerals as well as digestive disorders and discomforts. That may be relevant to you if you are eating massive amounts of fiber every other day.

Also, how are your energy levels in the gym on your fast days?
