Reeves deadlift I did a quick google search and found this http://www.usawa.com/usawa-record-ho...eves-deadlift/ It looks like the record is 400 pounds. I bet I can beat that ( pretty easy ), especially since it looks like it's legal to grab only the inside plate ( I was holding the outside with my 315, that makes it harder ).
Reeves deadlift I'm not sure if it's a world record or a USA record, I'm not familiar with that federation. But yeah either way it'd be awesome. I'm going to continue developing this lift, I think it'll help my standard deadlift too.
Reeves deadlift Jeezus... that is awesome. Looked like you had 10lbs in your hands you moved it so easily! Awesome!
Reeves deadlift Absolutely impressive, baddd assss. Place a collar or a couple 5 pound plates after the first plate to create a space. This is legal (considering most don't have the wingspan to get 3 plates).
Reeves deadlift I remember reading about Reeves doing this (with 405) back in the day. One of those times when being tall and having long limbs is a serious advantage! Ha! Nice!
Reeves deadlift Weird how if you see a short arm guy benching 700 pounds and say something like, "One of those times when being short and having long limbs is a serious advantage!" you get attacked and people argue that leverages don't have anything to do with it. But then with things like this Reeves deadlift, everybody just chalks it up to me having long arms. Oh well, guess that'll never change. BUT I seriously doubt that 405 will be all that difficult if grabing the inside plates is legal. Thanks.
