      Is there anything you can do to make the separation in your abdominal look better or is it just a matter of working to make that muscle grow more? I have been under 8% a few times for events but still dont get that deep ab look im looking for its just more flat

      Develop your abs more and drop more BF%. It is gonna partially be genetic, but I also think people greatly overestimate how lean they actually are/get.

      BTW, this isn't really the appropriate section for these type of questions.

      bigger abs = deeper separation
      low bf = make that separation more abvious

      Stop going for reps on abs and start doing weights on like captains chair leg raises and weight to your crunch. Do upside sit ups with weight if you are boss try and do sets of 6 to 8 with pretty heavy weight and your abs will get bigger thus making them more separated
